Delhi, the capital of India is dotted with spellbinding mosques, forts, and monuments left over from the Mughal rulers that once occupied the city. It’s most famous monument, the Red Fort, stands as a powerful reminder of the Mughal emperors who ruled India.

The tallest tower in India, Qutub Minar, is said to be constructed to commemorate the victory and the beginning of Mughal era in India. India Gate was constructed as a war memorial. The names of the soldiers are inscribed on the walls of India Gate.

Humayun’s Tomb is a monument built by Queen Haji Begum, widow of Humayun. Bahai Temple is famously known as Lotus Temple owing to its resemblance to lotus flower. Whatever faith you may be following, you could take your time to visit Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, the world’s largest Hindu Temple.
